During this June'16 we introduce our Fit&Yoga package!
For one month our team will have a new member: Aline, and with her skills and knowledge we can offer you the best holiday to get fit, strong and tanned before the summer really takes off.
The fit & yoga month means: You can do daily yoga and bootcamp / hiit (high intensity interval training) training with us, during your yoga holiday or windsurf/surf camp. The fit and yoga package also includes 2 personal training sessions and a fun sup workout! All on the sunny white beaches of Corralejo, Fuerteventura

Who is Aline?

we asked her some questions!
Passport Name: Aline Strijk Profession: Movement counselor, Fitness trainer, Coach Studied: - Sport Studies in Holland,movement counselor specialized in working with dementia. - Fitness trainer A - Sports Adviser - Bodyboxx Beat the music instructor - Boxing with choreography on music Lives in: Nijkerk, a small city in the middle of the Netherlands Interested in: Sports, body and mind, fitness, powerlifting, health, nutrition, traveling, nature, dementia and the people involved here.. Dreams of: Living in Holland but working a few months a year abroad & Traveling around the world with my boyfriend :). - During June, Aline is working with us, as Personal Trainer, Bootcamp&Hiit Coach. - Tell us more about the Fit & Yoga month; What is HIIT? HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is a short training. In a very short time lap you'll try to get absolutely everything out of yourself. Short heavy exercises (on 90% of your maximum abilities!), followed-up with very short breaks which don't allow you to recover fully yet. This process repeats a couple times to absolutely expend your stamina and dig deep in your endurance:) A Hiit training mostly takes 15 to 20 minutes. (excl warming up/cooling down). This short time gtraining is enough to get your maximum workout for the day. Ideal training for busy days or to get yourself on your max.. Do you know how much you can give?? What is Bootcamp? A full body workout outside in fresh air, back to basic. Bootcamp classes started way back in the military, its all in the name, the basic are: Train with what your surroundings offer you! .. Almost all exercises are with bodyweight. Working out together, helping each other to get the most out of the training. class will take about 60 minutes including warm up and cooling down. Works very well on stamina, endurance and muscle strength. Bootcamp teaches you how to make a workout with simple things in daily life... What do you think happens when you work out in a daily HIIT/Bootcamp session? Especially your stamina will grow. You will learn to not give up, you will learn that you are capable of sooo much more.. Your muscles (all over the body) will develop fast and keep you strong. Stronger muscles have a positive effect on common ailments like lowerback pain. Combined with proper healthy food you'll even lose weight in no time, making your muscles more visible! Making this workout for a week, on daily basis, will get you in the rhythm, before you know it, you'll fall in love with the exercises.. What is your favorite part in the gym? Dumbbells, i almost never using any machines :). Why would HIIT be a good training for surfers in wintertime/ pre-surftrip? Besides the full body workout, training all the muscles and keeping your body in shape.. It will improve your endurance too. For surfing you need a proper endurance, surfing is a sport using the long/slow energy system. Training with Hiit and bootcamp will make your muscles stronger and your endurance will gain, so you'll be able to paddle faster, catch more waves and overall stay out there much longerr. What do like about Fuerteventura? The weather :), the beach, the sea, the nice people, the nice boulevard and the space it offers to make great work-outs What does a PT’er do? In a Personal Training-session we will set goals together. We will work on those goals together. i'll be giving lifestyle, training and nutrition advice. Training together with a cliënt or giving small group classes (max 3 person.) |
